What we mean by these terms

Bullying

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive, and often repeated behavior among individuals that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. It is intentional, aimed at causing physical, social, or psychological harm, and can occur in person or online (cyberbullying). Key forms include physical violence, verbal abuse, and social exclusion.

Physical assault

Physical assault is the intentional use of physical force against another person without their consent, resulting in pain, injury, or bodily harm. It ranges from minor contact like shoving to severe violence, including punching, kicking, choking, or using weapons. Physical assault can lead to significant injuries, including brain damage or fractures.

Sexual harassment

Sexual harassment is any unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature that makes a person feel offended, humiliated, or intimidated. It can be physical, verbal, or written, occurring in person or online. Key examples include unwanted touching, sexual jokes, requests for sexual favors, or displaying offensive images. It can happen anywhere, including workplaces, schools, and public spaces, and does not need to be a repeated action to qualify.

Sexual assault

Sexual assault is defined as any unwanted sexual touching of another person without their consent. It encompasses a range of acts, including touching, kissing, or groping, regardless of whether it is through clothing or direct skin-to-skin contact. It does not require physical force, violence, or visible injury.

Drink spiking

Drink spiking is the act of deliberately putting alcohol or drugs into someone's drink without their knowledge or permission.
